Starting its operation in 2013, MTEPL has supplied more than 8,000 Traction machines to the Indian as well as international markets. MTEPL’S vision is to have a maximum share in the Traction Motor business in Railway and EV segment.

With state-of-the-art technology, the Traction machines manufactured by MTEPL withstand shock and vibration, wide temperature variations, heavy noise, and electrical disturbances in the harsh locomotive environment.

MTEPL has supplied Traction Motors, Traction Alternators, and Gear Drives for various applications like Locomotives, Train sets ( Train-18/Vande Bharat express ), EMU, DEMU, and Metros to domestic as well as an international market like Russia, Srilanka, Nepal ,Mozambique etc.

Since 2020 MTEPL has also started manufacturing electric vehicle motors for buses and trucks.
