In 2006, Medha started Medha Charitable Trust, which focuses on uplifting underprivileged students and helps them in completing their education. MTEPL has pledged to fund Medha Charitable Trust for all its initiatives.
It has been the mission of Medha Charitable Trust to ensure that no young talent goes waste due to lack of resources. We’ve been able to tackle that by providing students with financial assistance, monitoring, guidance and encouragement. The scope of Medha Charitable Trust is to cover all the fields related to education, such as providing infrastructure to colleges, providing aid to students for their college fees, exam fees, books and college uniforms, assisting the bright and needy in the form of merit-based scholarships and providing skill-based training to the unemployed youth.
Medha Helping Hands
Medha Sampurna Siksha
Though we provided books to 100 thousand students over the years, we saw the need to help the meritorious students who deserved higher education in the best colleges possible. We started a new initiative in 2012 to sponsor complete educational requirements for students who are meritorious as well as economically weak. Each year we conduct a scholarship exam for students from government schools and pick the toppers after evaluating each students’ socio-economic status. A number of Medha’s associates stand behind this initiative and participate in all these activities. Today we have 300 students who have benefited from this programme who are studying in the best colleges and universities in Telangana. Each year we continue to take 100 students from the state of Telangana in India.
